This posting pertains to any of the next Vista errors.
1. Activation fails with error code 0x8004FE33.
2. The subsequent Mistake occasions may well be recorded in the Software log:
Log Title: Application
Source: Software package Licensing Support

3. Activation is not effective, and you are not prompted for credentials.
The cause for this may materialize when you hook up to the net via a proxy server that has standard authentication enabled. When the proxy server is configured for Standard authentication, the server requires that you style a username and a password. On the other hand, the activation consumer interface does not let you enter these qualifications. Thus, the Standard authentication fails, and activation is not productive.
In this article is what you can consider.
1. Basically do not use the fundamental authentication on the proxy server or choose up that mobile phone and activate around the mobile phone. It is automatic and ought to only choose about 7 minutes.
2. If you need to use the Essential Authentication then exclude the urls for the certification revocation lists from. Do this by unauthenticating the CRL’s from the proxy server
