Google Docs Draftback to See Typing History

When students are working with Google Docs you can use the Draftback Chrome extension to assessment their edits on the doc like a film. You can use this to view scholar progress or to detect plagiarism in Google Docs.

Draftback is a Chrome extension. It does NOT collect person knowledge. Even so, it may well be blocked by your Google Workspace Applications Admin. You should call them to have it unblocked due to the fact oftentimes extensions are blocked by default by your school.

Making use of Draftback

Right after putting in the Draftback Chrome extension you will see a button in the upper appropriate of the document indicating how several revisions there are. Simply click on the revision to see a video of what appears to be like the college student typing the document.

Detect Plagiarism in Google Docs

If you suspect a pupil of plagiarizing you can use Draftback to see if they pasted a massive total of textual content at at the time. Notice in the animation higher than that it exhibits typing character by character.

If you are a Google Classroom person you can also use the plagiarism tool. It only is effective on Google Docs, as does Draftback.
